Beach Soccer: Tiki Toa One Win From World Cup Qualification

October 30, 2026

The Tiki Toa once again lit up the OFC Beach Soccer Nations Cup by racking up a third win from as many matches. On Wednesday, the Tahitians, already assured of a place in the final, defeated the New Caledonians easily by 12 goals to 3.

The objective was already to finish these group-stage matches well and to gain as much confidence as possible while being careful not to get injured and to avoid unnecessary red cards. The players followed the instructions. We are happy to finish these group-stage matches in this fashion.

We managed the game as we should by developing our play. This allowed us to rest some players and to give minutes to those who couldn’t play against the Solomon Islands (…) It’s a collective victory, and that’s what matters.

Saturday, on the sand at Aorai Tini Hau, the Tiki Toa are anticipated to reach the final of the competition. They will face the Solomon Islands players, a team they had defeated on Monday by 7-4.

The winner of the match will secure qualification for the next World Cup.
